Labor Day Canoe Trip
We can canoe the Gunnison over Labor Day, (3 day trip) which will be a nice three day trip.  We arrive on

Friday, spend the night at the canoe landing and then we'll be on our way on Sat.  On Sunday, we'll have a lay over at a historical canyon which we can hike and explore. All the members have to do is call Centennial Canoe at (720) 283-0553 and ask for Marty regarding the Slalom Gates

Ski Club trip.  Everything is included except your personnel clothing and sleeping bag and tent.  Cost is $310.00 per person.  Trip Leader Judy VonAarons

Saturday, September 1, 2007 Barbeque – (Non-Club Event) Sports 'N Social Connections invites all Gates Ski Club members to attend a barbeque. A “Wake for Summer” Party
 Are ya ready for some .... ski season?!!
Come to a wake for summer. Let's get together and talk about skiing, think about skiing, do the snow dance, and get jazzed. Here are the details:
 When: Saturday, September 22, 2007
           5:00pm until whenever
Where: Corinne Kenney's home in Highlands Ranch
What you bring:  Potluck dish and BYOB
What we provide:  The paper and plastic products, some lemonade, pop, and bottled water.
 RSVP not really necessary, but appreciated, to get an idea of how many are coming.

Hike to Ouzel Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Avoid the hunters and go on  a 5.4 mile, 950 foot elevation gain roundtrip hike.  Moderate difficulty.  The trail goes through an old burn area and passes several water cascades on it's way to the falls.  We should also see the changing Aspens at this time of year.  Meet at Westminster Center, RTD park-n-ride 88th and US36 (Boulder Turnpike), we can meet you Boulderites in Boulder.
