Steve's Sloppy Joes 

1 8-oz. can of tomato souce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tbps Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspsoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon molasses
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel ( vary to taste)
1 piece ground clove
Tobasco sauce (to taste)
1/2 onion finely chopped and sauteed
1 lb ground beef

Heat all sauce first and then add to ground beef
This is Steve Spellman's recipe submitted by Jim & Betty LaDoucier with the following modifications:

I reduced the tomato sauce, ketchup and molasses amounts slightly. I reduced the Worceshire sauce amount probably by a 1/4. I increased the orange peel. the ground beef is browned first. 

Jim & Betty's left over sloppy joes made a great hot lunch for the cross country crew on the Monarch/Mt. Princeton trip.  Jim Varner's ever present Coleman stove came in handy!
