Letter from the Prez:
Ski season is over, but the summer activities are just beginning! Hope you all got a pile of skiing under your belts. What an awesome ski season! Summer is here now and we've got some new officers, lots of summer activities, and some changes you need to know about.
In case you weren't able to attend our election meeting in April, our new officers are:
President: Corinne Kenney
Vice President: Gail Tracey
Treasurer: Ken Gabriel
Membership Director: Barbara Molitor
Publications Director: Anna Fleckenstein
Trips Director: Barbara Malone
Webmaster: Sheila Pelczarski
We will publish news on the club website rather than publishing a newsletter each month. We will also communicate with our members through e-mail. Members who DO NOT have e-mail will receive a paper copy of the summer events (which will be mailed out in the next day or two.) We will still produce our fall catalog, with the winter trips and activities, as well as our membership meeting dates. Our Publications Director (formerly Newsletter Editor) will produce the catalog.
Also, we have a new meeting place: Overland Golf Course Club House. Overland is located off Santa Fe near Evans. This move represents a savings for the club, and provides a larger and much quieter room for our meetings and speakers.
We have a great summer planned. Look over the schedule of activities, then go outside and play - with all your Slalom Gates friends! See ya this summer!!
